I specialize in helping business owners with the sale of their businesses.  I work with owners to create business selling strategies and to share my experiences on how best to plan and execute their business sale.

BizplanSell is a proprietary business selling plan that I created from my involvement in hundreds of business sales as a business re-seller and business broker over my 45-year career.


By planning actionable steps and separating fact from fiction I help owner’s make smarter business selling decisions that will increase their chances of a successful sale.

  • Moving the Process Forward: The sale of a business will take, time, focus, effort and many business decisions on behalf of the owner. I view my client’s business sale as a partner and share what would I do if this was my business for sale.
  • Problem-solving: There will always be challenges that come with a business sale. From experience, I share past solutions that benefited both my clients and buyers.
  • Valuation: In the business selling world, getting the selling price right is key. If a business is priced too high the business will not secure financing. No financing usually means no sale. To help in determining the right selling price, I provide business owners with different pricing and debt servicing formulas that are used by commercial lenders.
  • Attracting Qualified Buyers: I have designed a proprietary marketing system that attracts, screens and qualifies buyers, while keeping the identity of the business confidential.
  • Being Objective: The selling of a business can be very emotional. A business sale is about data, information and facts, rather than feelings or opinions without any true basis. I am honest in my approach when working with owners, even when it may be uncomfortable.
  • Keeping things simple when working with others: When it comes to a business sale, keeping things simple, in all forms of processes and communication, is incredibly helpful when working with landlords, lawyers, accountants, lenders, and buyers.


After a 45-year career in the business selling industry there isn’t much that I haven’t seen or experienced.      


I know for certain there will be ebbs and flows ahead, and my role as your partner is to educate and help you know what you don't know.
